This blog is inspired from working with the amazing Refugee Youth Project’s (RYP) high school students. I want to share with you my experiences working with and getting to know the RYP students through bookbinding workshops. I also hope this blog serves as an opportunity to address the social, economical, and political experiences of refugee youth in Baltimore.
I will start from the beginning of my process, how I learned about the RYP organization, became acquainted with its students, and eventually cultivated a partnership.
